The event will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement, reflecting its achievements over the past decade while also emphasizing the ongoing challenges in global climate action. It will specifically focus on the role, impact, and opportunities for young people to engage in climate change mitigation and adaptation research and action. The event will end with a space for visitors to deposit their personal “birthday letters” to the Paris Agreement—messages of hope, demands, and visions for the next decade of climate action. We will make a collaborative piece of art and reflect on these birthday wishlist letters for the next 10 years of climate action. Please join us to raise our voices and creative spirits together in this closing event for the Spain Pavilion, and hopeful exercise for the future!
